The Roanoke Valley Beekeepers Association (RVBA) is one of the oldest running beekeeping clubs in the Blue Ridge/Roanoke Valley area. With over 300 years of combined experience, the club is the perfect place for beginners and masters alike. The club meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month. Meetings are held at the DEQ Office at 901 Russell Drive Salem Virginia 24153 at 6:30 pm. The club consist of President - Vasilia McCrady, Vice-President - Danielle Lombardo, Secretary - Robert Howard, and Treasurer - Sam Golston. Along with our monthly meetings that usually include a guest speaker, the club is involved with educating the general public about the sustainability and pleasures of beekeeping. The club combines with the Botetourt Beekeepers Association to teach a beginning beekeeping class in February and March of each year. Finally, the club is also an IRS listed 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization.
We are an association comprised of volunteers dedicated to promoting all aspects of apiculture.
